Strategically located between the port, key industrial areas, and the financial centre, the 3400 sq feet office stands as a testament to SeaLead’s commitment to Malaysia.
The establishment of this new office marks a continuation of SeaLead’s strategic expansion, following a recent opening in Mumbai, India. This move adds to SeaLead’s dedication to establishing a solid presence in key global markets, catering to the growing needs of its customers.
Henry Schmidl, SeaLead Global Managing Director, highlighted, “Malaysia, especially Port Klang, is pivotal to our operations as the primary transshipment hub for Southeast Asia, China, Middle East, and India. The new office will provide our customers with an additional choice to move their products efficiently. It will also bolster our position as a major player from Port Klang to the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.”
Winston Loo, SeaLead’s Managing Director for Malaysia, will steer the new office, leveraging his expertise for regional growth. Reflecting on the expansion, Loo noted, “The Subang Jaya office aligns with our strategic vision. Our future plans include further expanding our reach within Malaysia, with new offices in Penang and Pasir Gudang by 2024, affirming our goal to be amongst the top five carriers in all our service areas. Moreover, the planned introduction of services like FIX 2, linking China and the Indian Subcontinent with a call in Malaysia, exemplifies our adaptability and commitment to service enhancement.”
